Life time in the boat building business and son of boat builder John Allmand. I spent several years after the tsunami of 2004 in Sri Lanka helping to rebuild the lost fishing fleet that had been destroyed. From there I met many interesting characters and discovered a world and culture looking at the US from the outside. My work took me to building boats in Maldives making the Dhoni type of una boats and China that was in the infancy of fiberglass boat building. Along the way I made a few friends and discovered what it is like to live.
