Al Johnson, aka Alfredo Leon has been writing poetry for over 25 years. His poems are included in numerous anthologies; he has received awards from Poetry.com and the International Poetry Society. His book "Coming Together In Harmony" has been approved by the California Department of Education for social content as supplemental education for grades 7-11. The former State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Mr. Jack O'Connell has endorsed Al's book. Additionally, Al has taught Special Education at the secondary level for 25 years, and holds a Master's degree in the subject. Al is a singer/songwriter, with over 100 exclusively owed original titles in jazz, R&B, pop, contemporary, and even Rap to his credit. Al Johnson is a Master of the Martial Arts, with 36 years of experience.
