About
Jackie Weeks

The first screenplay that I wrote was basically a love story called God Bless You and it was supposed to be for my younger cousin, but I never got to film it as a video for her and then the first actually screenplay that I wrote was 87 pages. It was called The Worship and it was supposed to be a short comedy, but I didn't like the way it was written, so I started rewriting it, rewriting it, and rewriting it, and I got tired of redoing it and I just started a new screenplay from scratch and called it Young John put the genre down as drama. At that time, I wasn't thinking about publishing my screenplays till after I graduated from the 12th grade and then I started searching for publishers who would publish a book that I was working on at the time that I called "Into The Dream Light" when I finally found a publisher, I decided to go with Createspace which is now known as Kindle Direct Publishing, but I'd published it, the book just sat there and waited to be ordered and nobody ordered it except for maybe family. Then, I decided to write a story that my grandfather had been telling me since I was in junior high about a girl who (according to him) got killed in a car accident by a diesel truck and who haunts the road that she died on to this day and that's where I got my inspiration to write a screenplay called Highway 5 from. Highway 5 currently sits on Amazon and in the Kindle Store also waiting to be ordered.
