Dr. Richard Luker is a retired, career educator with forty-four years of teaching experience. He has taught every age-group from junior high to doctoral students. Thirty-five years were spent in Christian education teaching Bible, biology, and advanced courses in anatomy and physiology. But, Biblical integration has continued to be his greatest passion. When the scriptures come alive in students' hearts and lives are forever changed by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit --- that's the joy of being a teacher with a calling. Dr. Luker is married to his wife, Vicki, and they have three children and six grandchildren. His interests include historical research, fiction and non-fiction writing, graphic arts, photography, and sailing. Recently, he decided to learn to play the guitar to expand his experiences in vocal music, ministry, and theater. As well, genealogical research has added zest to his interests in retirement.
