I am a Vietnam era veteran and after my discharge from the US Army, I attended Moraine Park Technical College briefly but soon realized my passion was becoming a journalist and DJ. Through trial and error, I self - taught myself the skills needed to be a journalist and soon was referred to as a “ pit bull ” by my peers because I refused to take “ no comment ” as an answer. My approach was plain and simple, ask the hard questions in a manner everyone could understand. I gained international recognition with my program “ Upfront and Outspoken. ” I would tackle hot political topics in the same bullish manner I did years earlier. My guest list often included shock jock Ed Tyll, Bruce "Batman" Wayne (host of the Batman show) and paranormal Canadian radio personality Rob McConnell.
