I grew up where trust was earned, not assumed. Money was scarce, but purpose wasn’t. A praying mother, steady love, and a faithful God taught me to refuse the labels poverty tried to pin on me. Violence was a way of life. Nevertheless, by grace of the Lord, doors were opened, which resulted in me obtaining a full scholarship to a private Christian university. While working with the military, I was able to get my master's degree in Intelligence Studies with a focus in information warfare. Throughout my life, my journeys took me around the world several time. Humbly, the relationships I have made over the years, are something that I can only attribute to God’s favor and many divine appointments. The prayers of my mother are still going forward not only in my life but my children’s lives. Through my life, I’ve tried to hold opportunity and relationships with open hands, as a steward, not an owner. I seek to listen more than I speak. Loyalty to me is rarer than a red diamond. Once you identify it, then it is always important to cherish it and protect it because it does not come around often.
