Jay Green is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Education and Mass Media Communications from Teacher’s College/ Columbia University, NY (1979). He has more than 33 years experience in the health and nutrition field, including dietetic positions within hospitals, a number of U.S. Department of Agriculture positions, as well as the Director of Nutrition Education for General Nutrition Corporation (GNC). He has written and produced a nutrition edutainment radio show aired on National Public Radio -"The Mr. Nutrition Show" (1983), plus other published writings and media productions. His most recent project is a free nutrition education audio play for 3rd to 6th graders entitled: "The Determin-Eater: A Skateboard-to-Health Adventure."
