Jimmie confessed his faith in Jesus Christ at the age of twenty-eight. Thereafter, he continued living as he had beforehand until God profoundly convicted him through the teaching ministry of Dr. Anthony Evans. Jimmie has professional certifications in software engineering, ministry, management and counseling. His other books - The Christian Knowledge Builder and Reforming Urban American Worship - offer spiritual insight to both individuals and faith communities. He has exercised his teaching, leadership and counseling gifts through the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, Eastwood Clinics and New Way Christian Community Church. Presently, Jimmie is a member of the pastoral team at Hope Bible Fellowship Church in Detroit, Michigan. He has earned a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.
