Hey guys! I am a mother, as well as a Nuclear Medicine Tech, the "Rubber Band Ball Queen", patient advocate, and a friend who will always be there. At 19, I was faced with the hardest of times. I was in a very bad car wreck and found out I was pregnant in the ER that night. After arguing with doctors for months that I was not going to have an abortion, I finally gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby boy. I received lots of radiation during the month's long hospital stay, and I experienced many things no one should have to go through. I have a rubber band ball that is made from the rubber bands of each nuclear medicine patient dose I have administered over the last two years at my current job. I gave birth to only one child but has many children who fill my heart. I am an animal lover and someone who will help you stand when you feel like you're ready to give up.
