Jess "Crayons" Zelhart (born 1985) is an American poet, lyricist, writer, editor and singer. She began writing poetry at the age of 8 and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in creative writing with an emphasis in poetry in December 2009 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Jess currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with her cat Roisin Friday. She loves karaoke more than most things and generally prefers to be known by her karaoke moniker, Jess Crayons. She also enjoys concerts, dancing, knitting, crocheting, amateur photography, playing video games, reading Wikipedia, petting cats and collaging.
