(born 1946) He lived all over the country with his family until 1965, when, following tragic losses in his immediate family, he settled in San Francisco in 1973. Then in 1985, after holding various jobs, he became disabled and homeless and moved onto the streets. He spent the next 15 years on and off the streets until, in 2000, when after suffering a severe assault, he moved back inside to stay.
