Tibet! My second home for 3 1/2 years in the early 1960's. The Chinese had invaded (heavily) in 1951, driving the entire Tibetan government down into India in fear for their lives. Nonetheless, my years spent at Chakpori Medical Lamasery in Lhasa were filled with learning, acquiring knowledge, and Wisdom where the Tibetan peoples were concerned. Now, a retired Archaeologist and Anthropologist, my time is spent writing of my life amongst the most spiritual people on this earth.
