Shepard's plays and screenplays have been seen across the US and in five nations. She has been the recipient of multiple awards for her work and had numerous productions, including her Off-Broadway debut in New York under the title COMMENING, A NIGHT OF JANE SHEPARD SHORTS. A film producer and director, Jane also penned the script for the Showtime Original Movie "Freak City", which was nominated for a Writer's Guild Award. Her collection "Kickass Plays For Women", a compliation of four of her short works, was originally published with Lulu until it was picked up by Samuel French, Inc.
