Creativity has been the hallmark of my career in teaching children. I am passionate about nurturing a love of reading and writing in both children and adults, drawing inspiration from everyday life, my love of nature, and the Forest School philosophy. I have also had the privilege of supporting my niece in publishing her first book—a proud aunty moment made even more special by her excitement to share many more stories to come. Growing up in Aotearoa New Zealand, surrounded by its beautiful people, landscapes, and natural world, continues to inspire my writing. As I work alongside people from diverse backgrounds, these experiences shape and inform the stories I create and the books I dream of writing in the future.
