Born in 1962 in Manchester, England, I worked in a family business until I was 18 when I moved to live in Israel. There I served in the Israeli army and worked in hotels in Tel Aviv. In 1989 I returned to England and the family business. In 2004 I opened and ran a bed and breakfast in Annan, South West Scotland. In 2009 I again returned to Manchester to fill shelves in a major supermarket. Retired, I now live in The Lake District. I have enjoyed writing from an early age, heavily influenced by Antoine de saint Exupery, Kahil Gibran, Oscar Wilde amongst others. My hope is that you enjoy my work as much as I have enjoyed writing. If you can find just one poem, one story that you can relate to, that strikes a chord, or even a nerve, I have succeeded.
