Johnette Mejia is an Elementary School Counselor based in Southern California, where she resides with her husband, Paul and their four children: Alyssa, Ashleigh, Jayden, and Jelani. In her role as a School Counselor, she is dedicated to advocating, supporting students' social and emotional development while working to eliminate barriers to their learning. Johnette earned a Master of Science degree and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Educational Counseling Services from National University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University-San Bernardino. A passionate advocate for mental health and children's well-being, Mrs. Mejia lives by the motto: "It's not how you start; it's how you finish."
