Born in East Moline, IL I moved on from the smaller town to attend Illinois State University in Bloomington, IL on a Track scholarship. Throughout my studies there, I switched between major's as most students do. I started as a Marketing major, then switched to Biology/Pre-Med. From there I went to Biology Education where I took made a complete 180 and majored in Economics. The variety of majors I had lead me to be able to gather a large amount of experience in various areas. It has molded me into the writer I am, being able to gather knowledge from my different experiences. My Sophomore year, as a Biology student, was what lead to the inspiration of the male protagonist in my first book, Stitches on a Canvas.
