Greetings, I wrote this book a long time ago. After several years of busyness and upheaval, I dusted it off to publish again. It's been a long road to getting this title back up again, but I'm glad I did. I met the artist when I was living in Western Mass. Sandy Denis is a talented artist and I am forever grateful to have asked her for her works for this book. Today as I write this, we're teetering at the precipice of our times. At this very writing, Gaza is barely hanging on after Hamas bombed Israel, and Israel retaliated by bombing Gaza trying to find and attack Hamas. War never goes well, as most of us have learned over the many years of wars. From my writings in this book, I believe I summed it up quite well as Grandmother spoke to her children of the world: "In your wars you took lives in the dark shadows of your own selfish values and valued none that you took" If not now, when? We must have peace, we must learn to love. Love one another.
