Kasaundra Owens, aka Kreatess is an award winning spoken word artist, and author. This Texas native uses her poetry & visual art as a means to free herself and others, by exploring art as a form of therapy. She advocates for women and children's rights, mental health awareness, LGBTQ rights, and racial equality. The message she hopes to convey through her writing is that "There is something powerful enough in your words to save a life."
