Hello, My name is Ken Gilbert and I have written an ebook about my life in Northern England and Scotland through the 60's, 70's and 80's. The ebook is about alcohol consumption and a Geordie within the licensed trade. There are many characters introduced within the book and many humorous and funny moments. There is also a dark side to the book which includes suicides, bad relationships, murders and alcoholism. I had 30 year's experience within the licensed trade running everything from top class hotel's and then moving on to a extremely busy Newcastle City center bar in the infamous Big Market. This bar also had a nightclub attached. I then moved onto public house tenancies and area management with control in some instances of extremely tough violent bars.
