Who I am is told by the makeup of my mind as revealed in CONSCIOUS-NESS: The BOOK. For thirty years I have been using introspection to probe my personal consciousness. It hasn't been an easy journey, but I have survived to tell the tale so now I can invite others to follow a similar adventure in self-reflection. I personally believe that self-unawareness causes a good part of the confusion and hostility we see in the world around us. The remedy is to become better acquainted with ourselves in order to enjoy ourselves more while not projecting our failings on others. It's that simple, and that hard. That's the kind of guy I am, doing my best to take responsibility for my own craziness so I don't blame someone else for my confusion, habits, and mistakes. I live in Maine, so no wonder I have an independent mind like most Mainers. And, yes, like people everywhere.
