I was raised on a farm in northern Iowa. My love for the farm, gardening, flowers and music are reflected in my writing. I do most of my writing at night when I am trying to sleep. I memorize the last word of each sentence so that I can recall the poem in the morning. I love to write in rhyme because it presents a bigger challenge. I write just for fun! It's very therapeutic. I am a graduate of Northwood- Kensett, Institute of Children's Literature and the Quincy Beauty Academy. My work has been published by Pack-O-Fun magazine, The International Library of Poetry, Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum and the National Library of Poetry.
