Kris Crews is an author from Columbus, OH, residing in Los Angeles, CA. Over the years, writing became a haven for her, acting as a form of therapy and escape. Little did she know that writing in her journal would turn into something bigger, leading her to gain her BA in Journalism and Media Communication. Soon, she wrote for publications like Huffington Post, MTV, BlackExcellence, and 1and1Life. While writing for these publications brought her joy, she wanted to pursue writing a book. Fast forward a couple of years, and she’s releasing her first book, You Owe it To Yourself. Through her writing, she hopes to continue connecting with others and building communities that support others sharing their stories.
