We call ourselves Laika Press, after the cosmonaut dog who made history as the first living being to make an orbital spaceflight around the Earth, aboard the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2 on November 3rd, 1957. We take inspiration from Laika, who served all of humanity in their scientific endeavor to the stars. It is in this vein that we seek to serve all of humanity in doing what we can, albeit small, to explore the frontier of Marxist-Leninist social science and history in the struggle for socialism so that all working people of the world may flourish and live in peace.
