Hi, my name is Lakeila Hamilton and I recently published my very first children's book Beautiful Black Boy. This book was created based on conversations I had with my three developing boys regarding racial injustice and the need of systematic change in our country. Children should never fear their future due to the color of their skin. My boys mean the absolute world to me and I desire to see them grow, to live in all of what they are destined to be. I hope this book speaks to the hearts of many children.
