I started writing in journals first. It started as my day, short stories, and eventually evolved into poetry. I'm no great wordsmith, but this is the best way I know to express myself. I love words, I love reading, and literature in general. I am but one person, my lens, my experience, but I don't think it is so far outside reality that no one can relate to it. We all have a voice in its varying forms. LA-born, mostly SoCal-lived, Chico State, kitties galore, paint-splattered appliances, notebooks, sketchbooks—a crafter through and through, from jewelry making to soap making, knitting, and crochet. A creative soul just trying to survive in the fire.
