Mary Helen (Schilling) Cissell calls both Georgia and Illinois home. She grew up in Sparta, Illinois in Randolph County and graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL. As a retired elementary and ESOL teacher, she enjoys pursuing her hobby of collecting oral histories from senior citizens in her community of Cherokee County, Georgia.
