I am a 31 year old author and I published my first book at the age of 19, born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. I have been married to my wonderful husband for five years and I'm a mother of one sweet, six year boy. I started out as a poet for most of my career, but I have recently started venturing into the novel side of things. I've never been the kind of author to write from their imagination- only truth. I prefer to keep it that way. I will always be a poet, but I'm trying to become a more 'rounded' author as well.
