Guy Lennon grew up in Santa Barbara, California and is a former Marine Security Guard (MSG). He served on MSG Duty from 1981 - 1983 at the American Embassies in Beijing, China and Dublin, Ireland. When his first tour in the Marine Corps ended he was honorably discharged and attended Arizona State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. While at ASU he was active in the Marine Corps Reserves and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He has worked for a very large consumer products goods company since graduating from ASU. He returned to China in 1991 as a civilian and worked there for over two years. Knights of the State Department is his first published work and is based on his MSG experiences. Guy is an avid scuba diver and currently resides Florida.
