I create places to breathe – peaceful, surreal worlds of deep water, murmuring forests, and skies you can climb into. Drawing from the timeless wisdom of fairy tales, I treat these narratives not as an escape from reality, but as an invitation to personal transformation. My process is a conversation with the viewer. I hide thoughts and concepts within the textures of poetic surrealism, and when a painting leaves my studio, the process runs in reverse: someone else unveils the surface, layer by layer, and finds beneath the gold and ink the unseen landscape of a psyche – often their own. Thus the canvas becomes a mirror you can dive into.
