I live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina with my family. I enjoy hiking and woodworking as well as telling creepy tales. This is my first venture in writing, and it will definitely not be my last. I have another collection of short stories titled, "The Unfortunate Residents of Hayden Acres" that I plan on publishing soon, so be on the lookout for that as well. I have always loved horror writers (Stephen King, Peter Straub, Dean Koontz, John Saul, etc.) as well as horror movies (John Carpenter's movies in particular) and you can see their influences in my writing. There's plenty of gore, suspense and those situations that leave you anxious and uneasy. There's a potential for darkness in human beings that is much more terrifying than werewolves or aliens, and you'll see this potential come to life on my pages.
