After his incredible journey Maarten Munnik has settled down just outside a small town in Bolivia. He now runs a small motorcycle adventure tour company and still spends a lot of time on a motorcycle riding across the wilderness. He was born in the Netherlands and worked for over 15 years as a IT specialist and efficiency expert. He is married to Tip whom he met while passing through Thailand during his journey. They have no children, but a dog, a donkey, 3 sheep and 2 chicken keep them occupied.
