About
A little about Mae Leon
Books have always been a part of my DNA—I was practically born with a novel in my hands. By age seven, I was devouring literature far beyond my years, losing myself in worlds and words that most children my age couldn't comprehend. In elementary school, while just a second-grader myself, I was already reading to first-grade classes once a week, sharing my passion for stories with younger minds. As I grew older, my relationship with words evolved. Notebooks filled with poems and ideas began to stack up on my desk—fragments of imagination captured in ink that I kept hidden from the world. For years, I've lacked the confidence to share these creative pieces that have been such an intimate part of me. But now, that's changing. I've finally decided to step out of the shadows and share my voice with the world. My journey begins with "Darkness & Secrets," a series I first penned during my high school years. These stories have waited patiently in my notebooks, and now it's time to let them breathe in the light of day. This is just the beginning of my public journey with words—one that started privately many years ago.
