Marceline Smith is a writer and illustrator living on the west coast of Scotland. Obsessed with Japan and kawaii culture for a long time, Marceline finally got to visit Japan in 2006 and has since returned four times including a solo trip traveling around Tokyo, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka, Arashiyama and Nagoya. She has shared shopping tips, photography and illustrations in a book and two travel guides. As well as writing, Marceline designs cute character goods under the name Asking For Trouble, which are licensed for all kinds of products, and is the co-founder of daily cute blog Super Cute Kawaii.
