I've written a lot of poetry but these three, I felt the need to publish. I had placed 'On Our Mother's Glory' in a time capsule with my hometown's (Belding, MI.) environmental group in 1989. I had posted it to a profile on the internet back in 1998. I wrote it in 1983, about 7 yrs after I joined the SGI-USA. The three poems reflect my understanding of birth, life and death that I learned in true Buddhism.
