Marc Royster-Stallion is an actor, motivational speaker, certified life coach & cognitive behavioral therapist. His coaching books focus on personal growth tools, stress management and limiting beliefs. Marc was born in Chicago Illinois. He was mostly raised by a single mother, who took care of him and his five other siblings. He suffered from undiagnosed mental health disorder, learning disabilities and had to confront many economical, social, and racial barriers. He began his journey as an award-winning poet throughout his high school career. During these years his work in both writing and speaking drove him to explore his talent for acting. Marc began his studies in theater and instantly fell in love with the phycological benefits of acting. While completing his Bachelors degree, Marc earned his certification in life coaching, and began his unorthodox practice (centered around classical acting techniques & movement) while working with other college students that were seeking personal growth. Marc earned a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing with a duel focus in poetry & contemporary media and a Post-MFA pedagogy certificate from Antioch University–Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy–Los Angeles. He currently lives in Port-au-Prince Haiti with his wife and son, where he works as an educator and runs an NGO focusing on the educational and mental health development of underserved children throughout Haiti.
