I'm a leadership and quality systems advisor with over 30 years of experience guiding organisations through complexity, transformation, and regulatory scrutiny. I'm the co-author of Transforming Quality Organisations, Guardrails, and Untangle (Out soon)—books designed to help leaders deliver clarity, reduce friction, and achieve meaningful results. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Southampton and a Master’s in Strategy, Change, and Leadership from the University of Bristol—training that has shaped my systems-thinking approach to quality and organisational development. As Managing Director of Datod Consulting, I work with diagnostics and medical device companies across the globe to rebuild quality systems, align leadership teams, and deliver compliant, efficient, and sustainable change. My work spans QMS transformations, eQMS implementations, ISO 13485 remediation, and large-scale organisational redesign. I live in South Wales, where I balance consulting with writing and quality improvement with clients. I'm a father of three adult children and take pride in the diverse journeys they’ve each pursued.
