Michelle Meloni was born Michelle Carpenter in Michigan to loving parents. Despite their love and encouragement Michelle went through many struggles as a young adult. These trials were the inspiration for her poetry. She is now happily married and although life still presents obstacles, Michelle finds a way around them and continues on her journey of self-improvement. She has two grown children and four beautiful grandchildren. Her grandchildren are the inspiration for The Legend of the Drunicorn.
