About
miles mathis

Miles Mathis (b. 1963) attended both Haverford College and the University of Texas, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa cum Laude. Having turned down full scholarships to Rice and UT in engineering, he then turned down full scholarships to graduate schools to pursue his own coursework. He is an autodidact in many subjects, including painting, sculpture, poetry, art history, art criticism, physics and mathematics. He has published over 2,000 pages of physical and mathematical analysis, much of it highly controversial. He claims the distinction of being the only professional artist whose physics books are recommended by a NASA astrophysicist (see the introduction to his first book The Un-unified Field).
