About
Milton Johanides

Author Milton Johanides is Greek Cypriot born in London. He writes about vexed characters caught up in disastrous historical situations. Themes of religion, politics and philosophy feature in the background in the style of romantic epic. He has created the Papayiannises, a fictional family from Cyprus whose adventures span a 100 years of Greek and UK history. The first three novels of The Cypriot's Treasure series (The Cypriot's Treasure, Olympia's Dream, and The Songs We Sang At Trollopes) are written from the viewpoint of Euripides Aristopoulos, grandson of the legendary Artie Papayiannis, as he tries to understand the value and meaning of his grandfather's life. These three novels are referred to as the Aristopoulos Trilogy. Subsequent novels are written in the third person. A perfect read for lovers of historical romances which cast a light-hearted look at the serious matters of life and death.
