James Schultz was born in Stillwater when it was just a little town of 9000. He spent every possible moment in the woods and fields, hunting, trapping, camping, fishing, bird watching and bug collecting. He graduated from Stillwater and moved to the University of Minnesota where he earned his B.S. degree in Wildlife Management. Later he went to Luther Seminary and earned his M.A. in Theology and Youth Ministry. His love of working with youth and wildlife brought him back to the U of M where he earned his B.S in Education and his M.Ed in Science Education. At the University's biological station he took additional graduate level classes in field biology, limnology, botany and photography. James has been a member of the Audubon Society, Minnesota Waterfowl Association, Pheasants Forever, Nature Conservancy, Trout Unlimited and the National Wildlife Association. James taught at Osseo Senior High for 32 years. He taught Biology, Wildlife Biology, Botany, Zoology, Ethology.
