Mitch McMullen grew up in Newhall California and graduated from San Diego State University where he majored in Speech communication. He is a former professional basketball player, business owner and philanthropist. He is the founder of Mitch's Java 'n Jazz coffeehouses and Newhall Coffee Roasting Company and created the Corey McMullen leukemia Fund in honor of his brother. Mitch resides in June Lake, California, is married to Jenny and has five sons: Corey, Connor, Andy, Tommy and Stanley.
