About
Mitzi Danielson-Kaslik
My name is Mitzi Danielson-Kaslik and I live on a very small Island called the Isle of Man. I’m currently seventeen, although I was sixteen when writing the majority of my first book Palvine. I have been writing since I was fourteen, which I began by accident. It was Christmas of 2018 and I had recently been gifted a notebook. I was on my way to London to see my boyfriend when the train broke down and suddenly I had the idea that I should try writing something. I did. It was slightly better than I expected and so I kept writing whenever I got the chance. I slowly got better and branched out for the descriptions I did initially to poetry, then short stories and then this book. The idea for my first book came to me when I was sitting in a GCSE French lesson in May 2019, and I saw a blossom tree out of the window and a black and white photo of the Eiffel Tower. The story really took off from there.
