A few years ago I embarked on a personal challenge to know my great, great grandfather. The journey ended in the 1630s in Sudbury, England here I met the first Newcomb to migrate to the Americas. My dad, Bill or William to many, and I had the priviledge to visit Sudbury and Old Saints Church in 2009. I have met many great great grandparents along the way. The results of this journey are the books before you. They have a two fold purpose: 1. Knowing our family and the history they lived. 2. Something my grandchildren will read and recognize the hand of God in all of our lives.
