Nell Ledbetter is a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters. She is also a singer/songwriter, actress, and dancer with a background in musical theatre. She began performing very young when her elementary school put up their first talent show in the third grade. Professionally, she performed with various companies including Disney, amassing countless hours on stage before audiences around the world. Her writing aspirations began at the age of 12, but often took a back seat to her performance career. Now, she’s boldly set forth, fulfilling her lifelong dream of being a published author. Drawing on her stage experience and love of cinematic storytelling, Nell infuses her writing with rhythm, emotion, and a performer’s instinct for timing. Her debut science-fiction series, The Elevator, weaves together her passion for character-driven drama, high-stakes action, and themes of hope and resilience. Through both her art and her writing, Nell is dedicated to inspiring others to hold on to light, even in the darkest of times.
