The Persian carpet in this story is real. It has been enjoyed by generations of our family. We have sat on the carpet to do school work, to play board games and computer games, to read newspapers, magazines and books, and to watch TV. On cold nights we have wrapped in blankets before the fire, fallen asleep on the carpet and dreamed our dreams. The creatures in the carpet's heavenly design emerged over time. They were created by their maker. The mother, the daughter and the cat are also real, this is their story. But sadly, the mother walks now in the heavenly garden. We miss her greatly.
