Born in Auburn, Maine, in 1949, Paul Cormier is the author of twelve books of poetry including: A Heap Of Smouldering Boundary Stones: Selected Poems, Cross Lake and Other Poems, Clarion and Other Poems, and Soaking The Harp. He is also an occasional memoirist. His latest volume, Ooof! The Mother of All Haboobs & Other Rugose Countenances is available now. He has at intervals made his home at Cross Lake in the Aroostook of Maine for the last sixty-five years.
