Paul K. Gjenvick, MAS, is the founder and curator of the Gjenvick-Gjønvik Archives, a privately maintained historical collection and educational website devoted to preserving and presenting primary-source materials related to ocean travel, immigration, military history, social history, and everyday life. He began collecting historical documents in 1991 and launched the GG Archives website in January 2000. Gjenvick holds a Master of Archival Studies degree from Clayton State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. His background includes archival research, historical interpretation, information organization, and digital publishing. Through the GG Archives, he has worked to make original passenger lists, steamship ephemera, military publications, menus, photographs, brochures, and related materials accessible to genealogists, students, educators, historians, and independent researchers.
