PAUL MACKIE is a caring, empathetic, licensed Early Childhood Educator; Community Care Worker; Engineer; Author, Educator and Speaker. While the author's background is as an industrial engineer, in 1995 Paul obtained his Brain Gym® (simple movements that help use more of the brain’s potential) teacher certification, and then went back to college and completed his Early Childhood Educators training in 1996. Paul has worked in day cares, the school system as a Teacher's Assistant and as a Community Care Worker. Paul has presented seminars on Brain Gym, Preschool Child Developmental Milestones, Preschool Child Early Reading, and techniques to reduce stress to both educators and businesses such as Early Childhood Educators of BC, Supported Childcare, The Learning Academy, Crestbrook Forest Industries and others.
