My love for books came from a difficult childhood. I didn't really fit in anywhere. Books were my escape. I could dive into a story and see the images in my head. It was my comfort. I started writing as an outlet to my disability. I was diagnosed with a severe spine disability that was deemed inoperable. Most of my old hobbies are no longer doable. The idea for Grandma's Secrets came from researching my family history. Most of my elders had already passed and the ones alive didn't really have any answers. We also had never met anyone on my maternal grandfather's side. Why not have a family secret? Hopefully y'all enjoy how my brain works.
